How you feel at any given time has nothing to do with how God sees you, and what He has to say about you. He said that you are peculiar; set apart from all the rest.
Are you saved? Then you've been called out of this world by Jesus Christ and set apart by Him and for Him. Together we are precious, living stones built up into a spiritual house; a royal priesthood chosen to offer up spiritual sacrifices unto God. (1 Pet. 2: 4-6)
That means that you no longer are to be influenced by all the 'secrets' of this world. Do not be conformed to this world, but instead realize that you're being transformed. Your spirit has been ignited by the Spirit of God. Now you need to tell your soul, which includes your mind, your feelings and worldly desires, to be renewed as well. (Rom. 12: 2)
Esther was the king's choice to be his queen. Yet, even king's wife was not allowed to come into his presence without being summoned at the punishment of death. When a decree went out that all the Jewish people, including herself, would be killed, it became evident to Esther that God had chosen her to be queen at this appointed time. If she had not been queen, she would not have heard the news firsthand and been in a position to do something about the problem.
She and all the Jewish people in the city prayed and fasted for three days. Then she went against all protocol to ask the most powerful king in all the earth a favor. Esther was willing to put her own life on the line in order to save her people from total annihilation off the face of the whole earth.
Now consider this: Esther had been chosen to sit at the king's right hand as queen. Under threat of death, she went boldly into his throne room. The king, happy to see her, extended his scepter, the symbol of all his power, and she touched it. She then was able to ask her petition, which was granted to her.
And this: You were chosen to sit at the King's right hand. You have favor with the King and, because of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross you do not have to fear instant death in His presence. NO! You can come boldly unto the throne of grace to obtain mercy and grace in time of need. (Heb. 4: 14 - 16).
On top of that, you have also been proffered the scepter of all of God's Power! Did you touch it? Did you accept it? Do not take lightly the awesome power in the Name of Jesus! It's yours to use! It is the Power of His resurrection (Phil. 3: 10). It is the Name that is above all names, to which every knee must bow, whether in heaven, on earth and under the earth! (Phil. 2: 9 - 10) It's not enough that He freely gave you His power. You must realize that it is yours, accept it, and use it for His glory!
You have been chosen at this time in history in this precise place to do His work. Do not look to the right or to the left, trying to find answers in world philosophies or religions. Neither allow yourself to be deceived by those who say that you can meditate a certain way and be guaranteed to receive riches, even by substituting your 'god.' Satan is out to deceive, especially those who are saved. (Phil. 2: 8)
Jesus contains the fullness of the triune God. And you are complete in Him, who is above all principality and power. (Phil. 2: 9 - 10) He is your Wisdom and your Power to overcome all things, and it is His good pleasure to show you the mystery of His will. (Eph. 1: 8 - 9)
