Now that you've got a website how do you bring traffic in? There are thousands of ways to do this. There are ways that requires you to burn money and there are ways wherein you can do it for free.

It is quite obvious that most of us would want to bring in traffic for free. But how do you do it ?One way to do it is to write valuable articles for free. Submitting articles to free directories helps propel you to fame all over the internet. Add to the fact that others who have a website will use your free article by placing it in their blog or sites. This way you get free advertisement as these sites allows you to post your authors biography. Plus you get a back link to your site. After several weeks or months, these backward links will eventually increase, helping your site attain a much higher ranking.

Be wary that not all backward links to your site are valuable. Majority of search engines gives more value to backs links whose content are in some way related to your site. Back link building by writing free valuable articles is much more better in promoting your site than joining random link exchange programs, link farms and other methods. The reason for such is because most bloggers or web masters will only copy articles that you write that they know are related to their own blog or sites.

I have proven this through my own personal experience. Even if my blog is less than 3 months old as of the time the writing of this article because I have submitted several articles already to different article hubs, I already got a Google page rank of 2 (P.R - 2). There are sites that has been there for more than year but they still barely make it to P.R - 1. Others are even there for almost two years, but they still have a P.R of 0.

It is true that you will have to take time and have some patience when submitting your articles to several free article archive websites, but I believe in the end it will truly pay off.
