Window treatments are often an overlooked part of home d'cor. More attention is often paid to flooring, furniture, and color palette. However, your wall color, stone vs. wood floor decision, or fluffiness of a couch is not going to be as important as your window treatment choice. Furthermore, the vertical design is much easier to clean then horizontal stacked designs, or heavy drapery. The fabric option, is the most likely to collect dust. Mini blinds may feel cheap or out of place in contemporary design. However, vertical blinds are thin, simplistic, but still elegant.
