You can do business at home sitting in your bedroom or study. All you need is a table with chair, telephone, a Desktop PC and internet connection. Ergo! Your office is ready. If you wish to be organized at home then you can find a niche for yourself calling it your office. Better still if you have the luxury of space then you can have your office in the basement.
Opening a day care center at home or having tuition classes, teaching yoga and music are some of the businesses you can do at home. Cooking classes and baking sessions can also be interesting. But you may need permission from your local authority to conduct business at home.
Nowadays even authorities are flexible about conducting business at home if you have the necessary tools and licenses. For example; for day care if your home is child proof and you have ample space then you can start your own day care business at home. Your business at home must be organized so that you are earning a tidy sum from it.
Things you must do to be organized are :
Clean, organize and purge your desk. Update your files and replace all torn files. Buy new files, in different colors, and organize them by color: green for financial papers, purple for clients and so on.
Be sure to label all the files, and then organize them alphabetically within each color scheme. And never, ever put the word "Misc" on any file--once you file it, you'll forget what you put in it. If you can say out loud what the file is, you have your label.
Use only one calendar. Choose the one that works best for you: one on your computer, a handheld one like a PDA, or a paper one on your desk. Then get rid of all your other calendars and use just the one to record and keep track of everything.
If you're maintaining more than one person's schedule, like your children's, use different colored inks to record information for each family member.
Make a list of your goals. Write down at least 10 goals you want to accomplish in your lifetime. Be specific. Then put the list away and update it again next year.

She even dresses formally while meeting client at home as she projects her profession as an organized business at home. Her website is search engine optimized and she ranks on top in the search engines. This enables to drive traffic to her website and she regularly updates her website.
She also conducts workshops and seminars in her basement office and at hotels for people who are interested in her line of business. All this business can be done at home and she makes a good amount of money.
She also gives advice on which stocks and shares to buy. You can do any business at home as far as you are organized and you have all the legal clearances with you.
