If you are wondering what the best way is to find a Lasik doctor, then the answer is simply - word of mouth. The basic reasoning for this is because if someone you know has already had the procedure done, and can tell you where they went, then they can inform you as to whether or not the center is good, and then you can thus use that advice given to you.
On the other hand, if you simply do your own research and read about places, you truly have no first hand experience in regards to hearing an opinion on whether or not the place is worthwhile.
However, if there is not anyone that you know who can tell you who a good Lasik doctor is, then the next best idea is to use the Internet as your research and resource tool. The Internet is a great tool for searching, especially in regards to such as matter as finding a Lasik doctor and this is because you are literally able to browse centers and doctors from all over the world, without leaving the comfort of your own home.
This is incredibly helpful to people who are generally busy - and who isn't - as they can spend time searching on the Internet at home whenever they have a free minute here or there. As with any other type of procedure, the Lasik procedure is a very serious one, and therefore you need to take all the time and effort that is necessary in order to ensure that you will be safe and in good hands.
Even after you have found a center and a doctor that you feel comfortable with, you will want to do even more researching, and make sure that they are legit, and that they are fully qualified and experienced, so that you can be sure that they know what they are doing, and this will not only make sure that you are in good hands, but also will help you to feel more at ease before, during, and after the procedure.
