If you are going to write articles to create passive streams of income then I highly recommend that you not use Keyword Elite or any other keyword generating software to create massive keyword lists of thousands of keywords. For this task I would strongly suggest you focus on only 25-100 keywords maximum.

Let me show you how to do this for the keyword shoes. Start project 1 and only select Overture. Using Overture is probably the best method for creating a very small but highly targeted keyword list.

Go to Step 4 and move the slider to 100 keyword results and then click okay.

You now have two options: You can either export the list as a csv, html or text file and simply use it as a reference to create articles from or - and this what I would strongly recommend that you do - select all the keywords in your shoes list, right click and "send the keywords to project 2".

Now it's time to do a quick analysis to determine which of these keywords are the highest paying Adsense keywords. You will find out why I do this in just a moment.

Leave all fields blank in Step 4 and only select Google in Step 3. Select Google Broad Match in Step 5.

Click okay and click "report view". Sort the keywords in descending order by clicking on "Adwords cpc. When we do this with Keyword Elite the highest paying keyword will be at the very top of the list.

You will then be able to see what people are paying for advertising on Adwords For the top paying keywords. With this information at hand you now know that this would be a very high paying Adsense keyword and a fantastic keyword to base your article around.

If you had an article written on the top keyword you would get a percentage of the money that the advertiser is paying Google.

It makes a lot of sense to create articles based on the highest paying Adsense keywords. I would recommend that you choose the top 25 keywords from the list and write articles for Adsense based on each of those keywords.

If, however, you are not writing articles for Adsense websites but are wanting to get free search engine traffic from your articles then you would use Keyword Elite in a different way to find keywords related to shoes that are getting a lot of searches every month but have low competition on Google.

The less competition you have on Google the higher chance you have of getting high search engine rankings for your keywords. Once you have found these keywords with the help of Keyword Elite either write articles yourself or have articles written for you specifically on these 25 keywords and submit them to Ezine Articles, Go Articles and Article Dashboard.
