I am sure most of you have heard of the term Mind Body and Spirit. Well many people shy away from terms like these as they instantly imagine something weird or far apart from the day to day normalities they are used to. Maybe to a certian extent these people do have a reason to think this way as the truth is that like for everything else there are thousands of people out there misguiding the ones who are hungry for information.
In the real world there seems to be a chasm between western medicine as we know it and alternative rememdies. When you bring the 'spiritual ' concept into the picture then you have a third contender for a long standing war or words. On the bright side though, one can see that this situation has changed somewhat over the last years and continues to do so. As a result that the polarisation between the different ideas is not so irritably obvious.
It is quite clear that there are many people out there who have lost complete touch with their spiritual side and yet there are a few that live their lives as if they were on another plane of existence. But what would really be ideal for the vast majority of people is to find a balance between both worlds. To have a little faith in the fact that all is not exactly and only as they see. When we understand that we are made of the three ie, mind, body and spirit and that they work as one we understand that one affects the other and if one is not working properly then the others suffer as a result.
Enter the concept of looking at yourself in this holistic mind body and spirit kind of way. Suddenly your digestive problems are not necessarily only a result of bad food. Your back pain is no more only limited to being a side effect of spending too much time at your desk. Your mind body and spirit are connected. Just as you keep, or should I say , you should, keep one healthy then you also need to keep all of them healthy and of course there are ways to do this.
But for today we will stop here and get you thinking. Till next time
