I would like to share one of my best memories with you from when my children was young and I hope you will enjoy it.
Money was tight that Halloween season. Therefore I told my kids to use their imagination and make their own costumes. My oldest son decided to raid my linen closet.
He found all my white draw sheets. You can imagine my surpriseWhen I came home from work and found that he had tore all my sheets into strips .
He had wrapped himself from head to toe and looked as proud as a punch. He had come up with a mummy costume.
My daughter was a ghost. She had taken one of the sheets and cut holes for here eyes, nose and mouth.
So much for economy!
The youngest one was a little more considerate as he had taken a cardboard box. For his arms and head he had cut out holes, thenhe had gotten my Christmas wrapping paper and turned himself into a Christmas present.
Now, years after my kids left home I still have these wonderfulmemories to look back at and it just tickles my heart when I seechildren come to my door in their home made costumes.
