Arbonne's Beginning

Most people would think that a cosmetics company was created by a woman. That is not the case with Arbonne. A gentleman by the name of Petter Mørck collaborated with a group of expert chemists, biologists, and herbalists back in 1970's.

When Petter met with these experts, he shared his vision of creating quality skin care products not matched by anyone else. The product line began in Switzerland and arrived in the United States in the early 1980's.

Compensation Structure

Arbonne International cosmetics and skin care products are now distributed globally. The Arbonne comp plan is that of an MLM setup. The products are distributed by a network of Independent Consultants.

To become an Arbonne consultant, you have to buy a starter kit. There are two options available: Basic Starter kit for $29 and the Super kit for $65. Your "residual income" comes in the form of network marketing.

As with other MLM opportunities, you earn commissions by sharing or selling the products with family & friends. The passive income comes from sponsoring new consultants and earning off of their efforts.

What You Should Know

Arbonne's products are unique, specially formulated natural products. Most people who try the products thoroughly enjoy them. However, the product line is quite pricey. Although they are very good, a lot of people will not be able to afford them on a monthly basis.

Unfortunately, while there are Arbonne consultants who earn nice checks, most do not. The facts are that 97% of people who give MLM a try will ultimately fail in the end. So why is this? Well for starters, it takes awhile before you will see a lot of income. Many want to be success stories give up within the first 6 months of signing up. It is not until after those first 6 months that most distributors will begin to see a profit.
