You can always guarantee website traffic if you are willing to pay for it. This method of traffic creation is called pay-per-click (or ppc for short) and basically you pay for every visitor you get sent to your site. The best known method of doing this by is using Google Adwords, where your ad is shown on someone else's website, which is hopefully themed towards your ad (if it isn't there is something wrong). This method of getting guaranteed website traffic is great if you get it right, but very expensive if you don't! There are other options over and above Google however. The other big search engines such as Yahoo and MSN run their own equivalents of the Google Adwords system.

For those without the experience or the money to run ppc campaigns, but who still want guaranteed website traffic, you will have to look further afield for your sources. There are a number of programs around that 'guarantee' hits to your site. My advice regarding this type of traffic program is to treat them with caution. My experience with them has not been very good and the results have ranged from abysmal to bordering on being against the laws of trade description!

Say for example, that you have a web site themed around health. You could post information on health blogs which are themed similarly to yours, as a comment for example, and then leave your link in the comment. The benefit of this approach is twofold. In the first instance, you get a backlink credit to your website, and secondly, if your content is good, you could get live visitors come and visit your site directly from the link that you gave.

As time passes by, people find more and more innovative ways in which to build backlinks and generate guaranteed website traffic. One of these methods involves creating something unique, like software for example, and registering that software in a software directory with links back to your site. If the directory in question has authority with the search engines (in other words it is highly regarded by the search engines), then the link back to you starts to do some wonderful things. Suddenly, you can get great surges in traffic and hopefully in revenue, if you have monetised your site.
