We reccomend waiting several weeks after a pet is released to allow the price to come down, then purchase before retirement is announced. This way you are assured you will not be paying top price for a new webkinz pet. If you are not sure about the price you are paying, do your research, find reputable vendors where prices are not above $14 per animal. Many webkinz pets drop to prices of $5-8 several weeks after being released. If you are looking for a bargain this is the time to start shopping.
