The Law of Attraction tells us that whatever we are thinking about is what we are attracting into our lives. The image we create of ourselves in our mind is what we are given in life. Whatever we put out there is what we get back. A lack luster thought or effort attains a lackluster result.

According to Bob Proctor of The 11 Forgotten Laws, the Law of Compensation rewards us in direct correlation to what we earn. If we don't put out anything of value, we will not get much in return.

As Raymond Holliwell states regarding The Law of Compensation, "The purpose of this lesson is to show you that you can use the law to lift yourself out of the place where you are to the place where you rightfully belong."

Imagine a better you and you will begin to grow into that better you. "...the seat of all movement, " says Holliwell, "the controller of all activity is your thought." So put your thought and action into this better place and the Universe will compensate.

Bob Proctor puts it like this, "The Law helps those who help themselves. The Law of Compensation always works that way." When you work to the best of your ability, you bring out the best of yourself. Bob Proctor goes on to say, "And the Law is that he who becomes better will attract the better and be given greater things to do." I like that. "...greater things to do." Isn't that what we all want?

So right now, today, we can create an improved image in our minds and move toward that image. The Law of Compensation is the "move toward" part. Our action must follow our thought. Now I don't think this means that if we want a good income that we must work our fingers to the bone. However, we can not move forward if our work is not of good quality. Our effort has to be good and our output has to be of value.
