There are several definitive advantages of a home-based business versus going to the office every day:

1. You get to spend more time with your family and friends. This is especially important for people with children.

5. Less stress - it's a lot better to be able to work according to your own schedule and to know you can be there for your family at any time.

6. Increased productivity - now that you no longer have to spend time and energy on commuting or a lot of useless meetings, you should have more time and energy to make your business a success.

7. Opportunities for professional growth - being your own boss gives you the chance to wear a lot of hats: sales director, marketing professional, strategist, business development manager, and more. This gives you insight into and experience with all the aspects of running a business, which, in turn, makes you even more marketable.
