Saving energy should be one of our top priorities, not only for the present but for
our children and grandchildren in generations to come. Saving energy will mean we will
also save money. And who doesn't want to do that? There are many ways we can do that.
One simple way to save energy is to replace our light bulbs with the new CFL bulbs.
These new bulbs are much more efficient than they were just a short time ago. An
article in a 2007 newspaper mentioned a woman who would not allow her husband to replace the bulbs in their bedroom with the new CFL bulbs because she said they would make her look "old and wrinkly". Well, I hope they have tried the "new and improved" ones.
Other energy saving devices, such as timers on water heaters and thermastats, are
great energy and money saving items.
A very popular item is the Soda Stream. It turns water into sparkling water and soda in seconds. No batteries, electricity, and no clean-up.
