Therefore, you best bet is to start growing them from your own seeds. After you have received your seeds, you will want to organize an indoor space for the seedbed.

Green tomato seeds should be planted 6 to 8week. Remember to first separate your seed, as they stick together during the process of packing.plant as many seed as you can, since most of them may not germinate.

When the seeds have sprouted for the second to third time. you have to transplant them in a pot that is 4".

Before the green tomato seeds are transplanted outside. they need to be harden. You can obtain this by taking them outside for some hours during day and then taking them back inside. As days goes by ,you can keep adding how long they stay outside. In no time they will be used to the outside life .

Once the tomatoes are used to the temperatures outside, plant them in the garden. Be sure to put tomato cages or other supports around the plants if they are a variety that grows tall.
