I had probably like the majority of people problems growing up with my mental health, nothing really serious
But at some level we all experience in our life periods of depression, low self esteem, lazyness, and all this factors that, even if we are not aware of most of times, are strictly related to our mental and physical health
Good physical health and good mental health are inextricably linked, each impacting on the other, all the major professional psychologists say that they are all very aware of strategies and investment to improve the physical health of worldwide through the emphasis on sports, the promotion of exercise and fitness, the importance of good diet, anti-smoking, anti-obesity and other initiatives. In fact all this activities in the world we are living are very desirable and necessary However, in the increasingly stressful environment experienced by people at all levels, there is a need to be equally imaginative in promoting positive mental health measures. There is ample evidence that activities which improve and maintain mental well being also add greatly to the general health of the person, with consequent social and economic benefits.
Well really that body and mind strictly rely on each other is nothing really new in fact Romans use say ?Mente sanum in corpore sanum? which is more or less ?to keep a healthy body you must have an healthy mind? and we also say that ?devil plays with idle minds?.
That said, sometimes some physical activities help us more than any pharmacological remedy.
