One of the ways I save a lot of time is by using an automated system to send e-mails to my customers and potential customers. If you have a customer that is close to joining your affiliate program but hasn't made a commitment yet, an auto responder can be of great service. Your auto responder can be used to send a series of follow up messages with more information that may be helpful in getting this customer to join you in your affiliate program. This alone is a huge time saver.
