5 Basics You Must Have To Succeed In Internet Marketing

Still,they have visions of it being lucrative and, even easy.
Well, it is easy, if you know what you are doing.
Here's a typical question from newcomers and it goes like this..."What's the best way for me to make money online."
You see, there are actually many ways to make money online and that is a bit of a problem.
My answer is "The best way for you is the way you'll stick with."
An awful lot of newcomers do that thing where they bounce around trying to land on the right thing.
I did that for a month or two until I decided to get some skills learned and terminology down pat about Internet Marketing.
So I joined on of those Online Internet Marketing schools and dug in for a while. It really helped. I finally handled the whole "terminology" thing.
Yes, I learned a LOT of tech stuff about the mechanics of website creation, blogs, article marketing, including autoresponders, HTML, FTP, Hosting, Domains, SEO, Adwords, keywords'it just goes on and on.
I spent over a year examining Internet Marketing from every angle I could find. I found a lot of angles. But I wasn't making any money!
Then I had this idea. Provide solutions. Answers to vexing problems.
In all the 35 years I've been in business the one thing that I am sure about in general sales or retail, is this...provide value!
That's always been the idea. Provide value. It makes sense. Otherwise the customer will just keep their money.
As an info marketer you have to provide information the customer wants.
What our customers want is often not what they need.
They ask, "How can I make money online." That's our market! Just what, exactly, are you going to tell them?
Tell that person what you know has worked for you.
But, really, don't you think that you should have done it, and succeeded at it, before you start telling others how to do it? Especially if you are asking for money for the information. The info has to work! Well, it better work unless you are looking for a lot of grief.
You may be able to argue that both ways but the fact is...I have done it. And, now, I can tell you how I did it.
I ought to be able to describe to you in detail exactly HOW I did it. And that's value. Just what you're looking for.
Unless you don't want to hear it. There is a lot of initial controversy about websites.
When I first started looking into Internet Marketing I was relieved when someone told me I didn't need a website to make good money online. Maybe, but don't think so.
Say you've got your product all spiffed up and ready to go. It's your's or somebody else's. You've vetted it. You're anxious to start and chomping at the bit. Good!
Now, what are you going to do to promote and sell this product?
This always goes straight back to the basics.
You need to be able to make simple little websites or even just webpages.
That page needs a place to live. Your domain name is what passes for an "address" online.
The address needs to be on a Webhost server. That's Hosting.
You need to be able to upload and download webpage files from and to that server. That's FTP.
Now then, after you have your basic infrastructure in place you need Traffic! Targeted Traffic.
That's article marketing! You write the article to attract those people who are likely to be interested in what you offer. It works great. My advice? Quit fighting it. Get the basics down.
Then move on to the only slightly more complex concept of selling something.
Just do it.
