1. Pick a product that people are spending money on and have a need for. Whatever you do, do not waste your time trying to create a need for a product online.
If you are serious and set on doing that you should visit a county fair and meet people in person. In the meantime choose an affiliate product that people are currently spending money on, and try to get them to spend some of their money with you.
2. Your priority should be to spend at least 80% of your time online driving traffic to either your own or an affiliate site. This article is not about convincing you to create a website of your own, however very successful affiliates generally do not promote the affiliate website directly.
I will say this though that a well designed affiliate website can make you a lot of money if you get enough traffic to it. It could be that you would prefer to spend more time perfecting your website and posting on your blogg rather than marketing the affilaite website directly.
If you are promoting a good enough product, and the sales page is designed to convert some of your traffic in the sales, then the bottom line is increase your traffic and your sales will go up.
3. Dont get stuck spread the risk around and remember not to put all your eggs in one basket. Super affiliates would be willing to pass on good advice to you. If you can make $100 a month on one affiliate website, then it will take 10 sites for you to make $1000 a month and a hundred sites for you to make $10,000 a month
What you will find is that some of your websites will create more incomes than other, but once you get a system in place you can make as much money as you want branching out into more niches.
If I had to choose of these three secrets to successful Internet marketing I would say number one is the most important. Ensure that the product you are promoting solves people's problems. That is what people online are looking for. Without that you will never make any money anyway.
