No. There are lots of ways you can earn money on the Internet with no start-up cash. Here are just a few:
1. Become an affiliate. An affiliate simply means that you sell someone else's product and get paid a commission. You don't have to worry about buying the product and then reselling it, or be responsible for inventory, shipping costs, or refunds.
Many companies have their own affiliate products. To find them put in the company name plus affiliate in a search engine.
Amazon has a huge variety of products that can be sold on commission, don't just think books, CDs and DVDs. Big screen TVs are sold on Amazon as well. The commission ranges from 4% to 15%, but on a big ticket item that can be substantial.
2. Earn money with your blog. Blogs are easy to set up, no technical web programming or coding necessary. After your blog is established and you have from 10 to 20 posts you can start selling product reviews, book reviews, and ads for products. The key to a successful blog is getting traffic. So tell everyone you know about your blog. Put your blog in your email signature.
There are websites that will pay you to post on your blog. What you write is up to you but usually the post has to be positive, include a keyword phrase and link to a specific website. The blog will also have to be at least 200 words or so.
3. Use your experience to develop a problem solving product that can be sold in digital format. Don't think you have experience that other people will pay for? Thank again. If you've found a way to quiet a colicky baby there are parents who would pay to know your solution. Or perhaps you have found a way to house break a puppy in record time. Just because you're selling a product on the Internet means it has to be about the Internet.
4. Use your talents. For example: If you like to incorporate photographs into videos, think of all the bridal couples who would be eager to take advantage of your services. Especially if they couldn't afford, or forgot to have, a video taken of their special day.
You don't have to spend a fortune to earn money online. In fact you can do it without spending any cash upfront.
