Instead, we continue to relate to people online as though they are our next door neighbors. In order to prosper in the coming years, we must relate to our clients and prospects on a global level.

* No matter what your niche, the people in China can relate to it. When I think of the various niche markets I write in - weight loss, Yorkshire terriers and other small dogs, relationships, success, and eBook writing - I know that the Chinese would also be interested in learning more.

So what can we all do to reach out to people all over the world, instead of just the ones who live closer or have more similar cultures and traditions? Here are some ideas.

* Think locally, but write globally. Continue to blog, write articles, and create eBooks, but think about what you are writing from a more global, or international, point of view.

As I watched the opening ceremony of the Olympics summer games, I became more aware than ever before of how to build my online business with eBooks, programs, and services, and of how important it will be to reach out to prospects living in China, along with the rest of our world, if we are to build a global clientele.
