1) When writing your sales copy, include a"P.S." at the end of your letter. This is were you want to repeat a strong benefit of your product, and then clearly TELL your customer what to do next... e.g. Click the link to your sales page. Reward your customer with a free valuable bonus.
2) Publish a free ebook and give it away from your website or in your e-zine. This will increase your traffic, sales and e-zine subscribers.
3) Create multiple streams of income with your web
site. You could sell your own products; sell affiliate products; and sell advertising space, etc. You can also sign up with Google Adsense to generate extra income.
4) Be respectful towards your readers and customers and helpful. Always present yourself both professionally and friendly. Focus on the positive. Your customers are golden so take excellent care of them. Help them with their businesses and build trust over time. Treat them well and in turn, your customers will remain loyal to you for years to come.
5) Do the market research and identify niches and then sub-niches that are not being filled. What do people want? Create new products or services only if there is a strong need or desire for them. You won't have anyone to sell them to if you don't have a market.
6) Offer your backend products to your customers right after they order. Take them to a "Thank You" web page that includes other products you sell. You can also offer a "OTO" (One-Time Offer only) packed with extra free bonuses. If you're not doing this you're leaving money on the table.
7) Don't let your website look like a ragged, disorganized flea market! Focus on your niche and sub-niche market(s) and sell a few products on your web site instead of selling a large amount of unrelated products. Too many choices can overwhelm or confuse your visitors and they won't buy.
8) Include content and free stuff on your web site that compliments and promotes the products you're selling. If visitors don't read your ads, they may peruse your offerings and discover they absolutely must have some of your products!
9) Include a brief "About" page or profile of yourself on your website. Not hiding from your visitors creates a feeling of trust and therefore, can result in your visitors feeling more comfortable buying from you.
10) Provide a "Contact Page" on your web site. Give your visitors as many options to contact you as possible. This'll add credibility to your business.
