Effective parents choose to provide their kids enough quality time. A mom describes her experiences regarding her 2 kids. During her busy schedule, she could to make breakfast for her kids in the morning, and in the evening after her career, she makes the decision to have a talk with them about their assignments from school.
There are examples when her kids' do their homework at the same time, and she can see the sense of wonder in their faces to do it at the same time. In this manner, she is actively involving herself in her children's lives.
Parents must participate in their kid's activities. In this manner, they can demonstrate to the kids that they are also interested in their activities. In classrooms, for example, school staff and instructors do have their parent day activity every year.
They have different sports and other activities where all the members of the family get included and work together. You should also have some story telling activities (not simply typical bed time stories) especially on weekends when you have no work.
Try to unburden yourself of extra or unimportant activities that make your lifestyle much too pre-occupied of things with respect to your career. Keep in mind that forcing your kids to be involved in other things without you by their side doesn't help to increase their awareness and responsibility; instead, you are robbing them of the most valuable thing: your undivided time and attention.
Parents need to take the chances of serving something for their kid to show them their love. For example, a parent could make food for their kid for mealtimes like breakfast, lunch or dinner. This might be a special time when a family get together and parents can initiate in discussing different stories that occurred at some point.
There is no perfect parent, but there might be perfect events that we can share to our kids. Therefore, get involved in your children's lives, do not wait for horrible occurrences to occur that end up with us lamenting: "It is too late; I was never there".
