Cats or dogs, if you have owned any of these you would know what a menace these fleas can cause to them. These cat flea medicines are available at any grocery or shop that has a pet corner and a visit to the veterinarian is not necessary to get a bottle of the same. Some people have mentioned that application of this flea medicine on the coat makes cats a bit disturbed and irritable for about 24 hours. Checking with a veterinarian will tell you that these medicines are not painful and neither do they cause any irritation of the skin. The sulky or snappy behavior probably stems from being subjected to any kind of medicine and the outrage that follows should be ignored for the higher cause of a flea-less pet
