I will tell you first a little bit about my personal experiences; If having to pay another bill each month is what is holding you back, you are not the only one. I felt the same way myself at first.
I mean isn't their enough bills to pay every month, so why add another one to the pile?
Maybe money is tight for you and if it is, then I do not recommend adding to your expenses. But if you happen to be lucky enough to have some money left over at the end of the month then "hey" why not take the plunge.
Should you invest your hard earned cash in a monthly membership site?
I belong to several membership sites and I find each one valuable in their own unique way.
Now it is really up to the individual, some people find the camaraderie that exists in some membership sites or the community forums a valuable resource.
Although I do like that aspect as well I find that I learn new concepts quicker just by reading forum posts and following some examples.
Would a e-book with similar information be a better purchase than a site with a monthly fee?
I have read many e-books and extracted a lot of great information from them but I also find myself with questions that the e-book was not able to answer.
So here is what I would consider to be the benefits over an e-book. The one on one consultation with the membership owners is priceless.
Learning from your peers in a forum is another great benefit.
Building friendships and relationships with others that share the same common interests can be a very rewarding experience. As well as the sharing of information that would otherwise be difficult for you to find.
Some people have launched some very profitable ventures with the help of the friends they have made in online forums.
I would say if you are on the fence about joining a site, why not give it a chance. If you have received good feedback from members and it is something that interests you then why not give it a try.
If it does not mean your needs or standards you can always quit and find something else more suitable.
In closing I would have to say overall the majority of sites I have belonged to have been well worth my time and efforts and have taught me quite a few lessons that I would have not learned otherwise.
