I would say that if you are looking for a home business you may have to invest to get started. If you are looking for more of a job than a business you should not have to invest. The problem is most people to do not even know how to go about working on the internet, so they need to learn how.

Just the archives a lone can keep you busy for a long time in a active forum. This is free training for you. All you invest is your time.
Once you get a better idea of what you are looking for you can even post a few questions of your own. You will find many people willing to help you.

So regardless of how you fit in be sure and do not over spend on your education. If you buy an ebook for example read it before you by another one. You can make money without spending a lot of money.
Just decide if you want a business or a job and then get the skills it will take. You can make money without any if you learn how.
