Wrong, wrong and wrong. That's not what I'm driving at.
And it doesn't cost you anything.
Have you considered partnering up with another business? Did you ever think about entering into a joint venture with a business owner or entrepreneur?
Take a hard look at what you're doing. Now look around the internet. What businesses out there could benefit from a relationship with you? What businesses might be able to do something in trade with you?
There might be someone out there with an e-mail list. If you have one as well you could advertise in each other's and expand your e-mail lists...grab each other's subscribers!
You have the option of writing an article or a report for a newsletter or website related to your business.
The possibilities are endless.
If you find a group of people or an individual person who have the same goals you have, you can take on projects you never dreamed possible. Like-minded people who care about what you're doing and have resources you don't have access to.
So how do you find JV partners?
Actually, they're everywhere. An excellent place to begin is with Forums. Get involved and you might have people approach YOU.
Or, if you find someone with a situation that suits you, send them an e-mail or a Private Message. If you have something that could help someone, help them.
Building relationships online can give you more opportunity and help you reach heights you never dreamed possible. And you can learn and grow in the process.
I know doing it alone is easy. Doing it alone lets you stay in control. But sometimes if you give up a little control, open your eyes and look for a partner, BIG things can happen.
