If you are doing any type of internet marketing no matter what level you are surely aware of how important getting traffic to your websites are. To be completely honest with you if you do not get a decent amount of traffic to your site on a regular basis the better chance your online business will fail. In this article I will cover 4 fairly easy but powerful methods that can get the traffic flowing to your site like clockwork. Take a moment to evaluate each method and see which ones if not all will best suit you.

1. Article Marketing - This in my opinion is the king of all traffic getting methods that is out there. Yes it does take a little work to get started with but the benefits can be huge. All you need to do is write informative articles that are related to your particular niche and submit them to several article directories. You want to make sure that you submit them to high traffic sites such as Ezine Articles and Go Articles. There will be a place where you can advertise your site. This place will be found at the bottom of the article and is called the resource box. You want to make sure that you write your resource box carefully because this is what will entice people to click on your website link that you will have in your box.

Try to write at least 1 article a day to get started then gradually work your way up to where you can be writing 5 to 10 articles a day.

2. Video Marketing - This is one of the fastest growing ways to get a nice stream of traffic to your site. All you need to do is create short videos that are related to your niche and upload them to top video distribution sites such as Youtube and Meta Café. Just make sure that your video is short but interesting. Be sure to place your web address throughout the video. Try to create and upload at least 1 video a week to top video sites.

3. Social Bookmarking - This traffic getting method can be very effective but often times over looked. The trick is to get your sites information book marked on all of the top social media sites. So that means you should be bookmarking you web pages, press releases and articles that you write. I use a free bookmarking site called Onlywire. This allows you to submit your content to all of the top social media site with the push of a button. Pretty cool!

4. Joint Ventures - This is where you go out and find other marketers in your niche and ask them to basically send some traffic to your website offer in exchange for a cut of the sales that was generated from their leads. Joint ventures can be very effective but do take a little work to set up. I would recommend this method for mir advanced marketers.
