The articles you use for article marketing should grab your readers' attention and hold it. There are various components that go into a piece of writing to accomplish this. When you include them all into an article it will hold your readers' attention all the way through to the finish. You have to start of course with a title that makes the article sound interesting enough for someone to read.
If your title is boring then your readers will think your article is such too. So spend some time on developing the title. You want it to be something that pulls the reader into the rest of what you are stating in the writing piece. So this is the first step.
Your first paragraph needs to state the overall subject that your writing piece is based on. Give the readers just enough information in about 4 or 5 sentences to make them want more information. This paragraph should end by leading the reader into the next part of the article.
In the body of the article you give your readers the information that will ultimately lead them to your website. So make this interesting and compelling to keep your readers' attention. You want them to read far enough through to get to your link to your website that you have included toward the end of the article.
Always include a link to your website in the article, after all this is the purpose of article marketing. You want to drive people to your website. Provide the link in such a way that you know people will click on it. One example is “For further information on this subject click here...”, but you can come up with your own wording.
An article should be at least about four to five hundred words unless the site calls smaller articles. If you have the space 750 to 1000 word articles do allow for more information to be communicated to the readers. This basically depends on how much information you want to share with your readers.
Once you have shared all the information with your readers that you want to then it is time for the summary. The summary does not have to be complicated or long. This just smoothly wraps up the article. Some people restate part of the first paragraph for their summary, while others just do a wrap on the article. Either way is correct.
The main thing to remember is that the opening paragraph is for smoothly getting your reader into the body of the article. The body is where all the relevant information is related to the people reading it. The summary is to smoothly transition the reader out of the article.
Hopefully now you know how to write your articles for the marketing of your website. These articles do not take long to write when you know the subjects as well as you do. So good luck on your article marketing today, and may it bring you lots of added revenue over time.
