Positive thinking doesn't always work because thinking positively might only be going on on the surface while deeper negative beliefs persist. Just one deep-seated negative belief is enough to stop you from taking the right kind of action.
Just thinking positively doesn't get you anywhere though. You need to be taking the right action as well. But when most people need to start taking the right action they find their positive thinking fails them.
Because when you need to take action your negative beliefs will come up. You're forced to battle all those negative beliefs and emotions. Positive Thinking becomes effective when you've gotten rid of al those things that are holding you back.
If you can totally focus on your goal and your positive thoughts, it is possible to battle through all your negative beliefs. This is how most people live their lives. But it's REALLY hard work! That's because negative beliefs are really negative thoughts attached to negative feelings. So when you push through the belief, you take action that conflicts with the thought, and that brings up the feeling. Working through things like this because incredibly draining, and the negative feelings don't tend to really change, so they are there next time you do the same thing.
As always, Tapping makes it a hell of a lot easier. If, when you take action, you look for the negative feelings that come up, and tap them away, the negative thoughts vanish. You realise that the thoughts didn't come from the reality of the situation, they were just your mind's way of rationalising the feeling.
When you lose all those negative beliefs and thoughts that stop you from having the full benefits of Positive Thinklng you'll be able to have a much stronger and deeper positive world view. Taking the right action will become more naturally and success will come much more easily.
