You've just invested thousands of dollars to create the website of your dreams. It's beautiful to behold and has all the latest bells and whistles. It even has moving pictures and sound incorporated in it. So why is it only getting a handful of visitors? It might be because your website shows up on page 10 on a Google search.

A recent study revealed that 80% of the visitors to websites come from a search engine. So if you're concerned about the return on the investment you made in your website then you need to be concerned about your website's placement on the various search engines.

Search engines exist to give visitors the most relevant results for their searches. The various search engines like Google or Yahoo have their own unique formula for indexing and scoring websites. These formulas weigh various factors, such as a page's programming and content. The number of links to the website is one of the most important factor Google uses to determine a site's ranking.

Repetition and relevancy are also key factors used by search engines to determine website placement. Article submission can satisfy both of these factors and should be incorporated in your overall search engine ranking strategy.

Article submission is the #1 way you can effectively establish your online presence.

Here are some ways your website benefits from article submission:

? Article submission serves as a distribution channel for your company's voice.

? Article submission positions you or your company as an authority in your field of expertise.

? Article submission is an extremely economical way to create a high volume of attention.

? Article submission creates a valuable relationship with your current and potential clients.

? Article submission is a key tool used in reputation management.

Generally when you submit an article to an article directory service you are allowed to list at least one link to your website with each article submitted. So, if you submit an article to 100 article directories you've instantly created 100 links to your website with very little effort. Submitting just one article a day would give you a minimum of 2800 links to your website in just one month. Multiple links to your website will result in improved search engine ranking for your site.

The primary drawback to article submission is the time it takes to set up accounts at the various directory services. Each directory has its' own requirements and format. So the initial creating of accounts with the various directories can take many hours. Each article submitted can take hours depending on the amount of article directories you are submitting to. Doing it by hand like this means you will also have to consistently update your list to make sure you are submitting to high quality article directories.

But there is help in overcoming these barriers. Studio98 has just launched an automated article submission service that will automatically set up accounts for you and submit your articles to high ranked directories. This system was built from the ground up as a custom system for each article directory. This includes being able to select a category when you are submitting an article and the system will automatically choose the most appropriate category on each site that is on the list, which no article submission software out there has taken the time and effort to do. It's definitely something worth checking out.

Article submission is without doubt the most efficient and effective way to improve the ranking of your website. And that equates to more money in your pocket.
