To reseal or not to reseal that is the question. In our world today everything is fast pace. Time becomes a major issue and we try to cram everything into a few moments. However, when it comes to our food at home, with our fast paced lifestyle we tend to forget that foods freshness doesn't last forever. Whether it is freezer burn or unsightly mold, if you don't eat it someone or thing will.
How can we stop this from happening you might ask? Well, with that we have some good news and some not so good news. The bad news here is that mold or freezer burn is pretty much inevitable if you forget about your food items. Good news, you can definitely slow down the process with sealable packaging. Lets face it, sometimes you just want 2 or 3 biscuits for dinner and the rest some how ends up going bad in your refrigerator freezer because you forgot all about them.
Consumers who consistently indicate that they are crunched for time and looking for convenience have certainly gotten their wish in recent years, as manufacturers have introduced easy-to-open, re-sealable packages for an array of products. Everything from baby wipes to Beer Nuts(TM) now comes in re-closable convenience-driven packaging, and dairy foods are no exception. Re-sealable packaging is not a new feature, but it is only in the past few years that food companies have taken advantage of this technology in such large numbers, fueled by consumer demand for convenience and time savings.
Many companies are noticing the positive effects of recloseable items. Not only does this make the product more consumer friendly but it in turns help to issue a scene of security because of the protective bearer around the seal.
For businesses, the benefits are many. Saving on labor costs, whether it is being able to reassign employees to other tasks, speed and most importantly customer satisfaction ensuring return customers to the brand.
Every business wants to be different and wants to sell, one major distinction that is becoming highly popular is packaging. They see packaging as a marketing tool, and each retailer wants different packaging to reinforce its market position. Producing and environmentally friendly item that reduces waste, and protects your items for storage and longer freshness state is great all around.
