When you start using traffic exchanges to drive traffic to your site, you sit at your computer and click on sites. You schedule this in to your life and for a couple of hours a day you can earn 1200 or so hits to your site a month. You then discover that using a tabbed browser such as Fire fox or Crazy browser and you are able to earn a 1000 hits a day. Thats great but unless you spend more time that is as far as you can go.

What are the options you could pay for an upgrade. This would in most traffic exchanges give you an increased surfing ratio and a number of bonus credits each month.

You could buy Surfing credits, this will cost you approximately $0.005 for each hit or about $25.00 for five thousand.

You could chose a strategy of building down lines in your chosen traffic exchanges, the reasoning behind this is that when you refer new members to the exchange you are rewarded with a percentage of the credits that they earn, it varies from site to site but on some you are also rewarded a percentage of the earnings of the members that your referrals bring in, this can happen for up to 10 levels. This is why you see so many Traffic Exchanges being advertised when you are surfing. People are using their credits to recruit new members to increase the number of credits they earn.

This is Not an efficient way of using your credits, as each splash page is advertising just one site, what you need is a page that builds your down line in multiple sites at the same time giving you more return on the time you invested.

There is a new site that is dedicated to downline traffic building called Secret Edge, It is free to join and is designed to build your referrals in 17 exchanges as I write this. As there are over two hundred traffic exchanges currently on line the site allows free members to add a site of their choice to the page that they promote (paid members can add 5 sites of their own) A down line builder works by the new member adding their referral I D's to the list on the site and updating them, adding the site that they want to promote, and then advertising the page so they get others to join. When that happens any program that the new sign up is not already a member of uses the link on the page to join, this places them in the downline of the person promoting the page. If for some reason you don't want to join a particular site the ID of your sponsor carries over on to your page, so that they would get the sign up

Using this system can create a large number of referrals in a lot of sites, which in turn can earn you many extra credits.
