How To Find And Approach Joint Venture Partners
Matt Bacak
Are you an Internet marketer that is constantly seeking ways to increase profits? Have you built your customer list through Google Adwords and want to take your business up a notch? If so, then participating a Joint Venture is the next step you should take. A Joint Venture is anytime you work with another person to sell a product and/or service from which you both profit.
Joint Ventures allow you to combine forces with other Internet marketers and businesses to promote both of your products or services together. Essentially you will combine your customer lists and promotes your products together.
The first step in creating a Joint Venture is to find possible Joint Venture partners. Many Internet marketers are not sure how to find another Internet marketer or business for their Joint Venture. The best and easiest way to find possible Joint Venture partners is to search the Internet by using a Google or search engine strategy.
Open up Google and type in your niche keyword. Google will search for other Internet marketers and businesses that are in your niche. The search results are separated into two columns. The right hand side consists of paid search engine placement from Google Adwords. The left hand side consists of free search engine placement. Focus on the right hand side that has the paid search engine placement because these listings prove that the Internet marketer or business is already spending money on their business and thus will be more open to participating in a joint venture.
Search the paid listings and find the contact information for each potential Joint Venture partner. Sometimes you can find this information by clicking on the website linking and finding the information at the website. Another option is to find contact information for a website by running that website through www.whois.com. Find contact information on at least twenty Joint Venture partner possibilities. You can keep this contact information organized by copying it into an Excel spreadsheet.
You should also keep track of what your competitors are doing when you find these niche marketing listings. You can accomplish this by signing up for any free newsletters and e-zines from websites within your niche. This will allow you to be aware of what information your competitors send out and how often.
The second step is to approach possible Joint Venture partners. Approaching Internet marketers and business for a Joint Venture is a process in which you should be persistent, but not annoying. Presenting yourself professionally is the key. Therefore, first send an e-mail that honestly states how combining your lists can benefit them. They may not respond so make sure to follow up with a phone call, fax, or postal mail. Creating a Joint Venture can sometimes take weeks or years so be persistent.
Your e-mail should contain your name, website address, and business proposal. Remember to not focus on the features of your product, but how selling your product can benefit them. Provide numbers such as the conversion rates and profits they will earn by promoting your product. Provide them with as much tangible profit related information as you can and remember to be honest.
