One of the many questions that pops up from time to time is if absenthe has often been referred to as the green "fairy" in the past is it OK for real men to drink it. The fact of the matter is that real men have been drinking absinthe for hundreds of years without ever experiencing any drop in their testosterone levels. In fact research has suggested that the term " green fairy" was derived from the fact that absinthe has been known to have been used as an aphrodisiac. The truth of the matter is that chicks love absinthe and with 80 proof alcohol and a healthy dose of psychoactive thujone, what real man wouldn't enjoy the company of chicks "gone wild" on absinthe. What about absinthe as a drink that real men can share with each other when they are involved in "male bonding". In fact real men have been doing "man things" while they drink absinthe for hundreds of years now. It is important to bear in mind that when absinthe was "discovered" in the late 1700s real men were "a dime a dozen". This is because, back then life was hard and the world was a much more dangerous place. It was a time when men were men and sheep were scared, so real men didn't give much thought to it when they did man things like drink absinthe while they herded their frightened sheep.
