Mozzarella Salad Recipe |
6 Servings 3 lg ripe tomatoes cut into 1/2" thick rounds 1/2 lb Italian mozzarella cheese cut into 1/4" thick rounds 1 bn basil 2 T red wine vinegar 6 T olive oil 1/4 t kosher salt black pepper,Freshly Ground Reserve 6 to 8 small basil leaves for garnish and chop remaining leaves. In a 2-cup mixing bowl, whisk together vinegar, oil, and salt. Stir in chopped basil leaves.
