Look, the Star is Falling!

By: Jennifer Burns

What is it, a star? A comet? a falling apart body that will never recreate again? What do you think of while looking at a night sky? Here are some things people usually think of while staring up above:
"There is laundry to do. And where is Jerry, my husband, I wonder? Kids need new outfits for school. Oh, yes, my car insurance... Where do I get all this money from? We are going to have a tough discussion tonight with Jerry. And this time he is not turning to me his back and falling asleep.

No excuses. And we, definitely, have to do something about his snoring! I am the only one who cares about this family."
Or how about this one:
"Hold on, it is Friday 1AM, and the report is due Friday. God, what am I supposed to do now? Probably just fail this class and start it over again... This would be the only logical and understandable outcome. Stacy has not turned on her cell yet. Where is she at? All right, I will get back to her right after get the door fixed."
What do you think? Like it? Everybody thinks of their own personal bothers and there is nothing I can really do about it. Stars' observing might be the only moment you have to analyze your day and get the thoughts staright. But, please, try to forget everything at least for 40 seconds, look at the stars and, finally, notice how beautiful they are. And, by the way, have you ever wished on a star? Those ones do come true..!
