Having a panic attack or any other panic disorder is going to be a problem for anyone. A panic disorder is a real and very disabling disease. It can however be controlled with different forms of treatment. There are different disturbing symptoms that are going to go along with having a panic disorder. Some people may mistake it for a heart problem or some other form of medical illness that is going to be destructive to someone's life. Some people will go to the emergency room when they are experiencing a panic attack and will have many expensive and extensive medical procedures performed to rule out these other conditions.

Some will try to get the reassurance that they feel they need when they are having a panic attack. There are some people that will try and help their loved ones feel better by telling them that they are not in great danger and that there is nothing to worry about. The words this is not serious or that these problems are all in your head may give the person the wrong impression that there is no real problem and that the treatment is not going to be possible or necessary.

Panic disorders have been none to put people in a very bad position. It is not always easy to get through this type of problems and for someone to dismiss it as if it does not exist is not the right idea. A panic disorder of any kind can be very serious and dangerous to the people that experience them. It is hard to think about you going through this type of destructive disorder but it is something that many have to take on.
