Scalp Eczema - Clear Scalp Condition

By: Janet Simpson

The way to eliminate scalp eczema is to feed your scalp vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes, moisture and water. Your scalp also needs to have the ability to eliminate all toxin and waste materials quicker than they are created.

Certain foods offer nutrients and encourage detoxification. Other foods provide the opposite. Hydration, additional toxin, lowered elimination and can create internal havoc.

One such food is fats. There are two kinds of fats. Bad fats and good fats. Good fats work with the body to hydrate, cleanse and nourish your body.

Bad fats are awful. They are poisonous to your system and tend to create all manner of diseases etc.

Bad fats are those that have been heated to high temperatures or processed and no longer function as nutritious foods.

Bad fats contain trans fatty acids which have a damaging effect on your body and your scalp in particular.

It is important that you eliminate all sources of bad fats from your diet at least until your scalp has had the opportunity to heal and hydrate itself.

Trans fatty acids can be found in a wide range of foods including biscuits, cookies, chips, junk foods, peanut butter, fry ups and instant soups.

When you do your weekly shop it is important to pay attention to the package labels. Look out for foods that contain hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils.

Replace your bad fats with good fats. Good fats, fats that contain important nutrients include flax seed oil, extra virgin olive oil and hemp oil.

Keep away from bad fats because:

#1 - Foods that contain trans fatty acids are more difficult to digest than foods without them.

#2 - A healthy immune system is paramount to eczema sufferers. Trans fatty acids tend to reduce the functioning of the immune system.

#3 - Foods that contain trans fatty acids tend to intefere with cell respiration. A good supply of oxygen is very important for the healing process of eczema.

#4 - Foods that contain trans fatty acids create blood sugar imbalance.
