What's The Problem?

No really what is the problem?

Or is there a problem? It would seem not, 95% of the population, that's you and I are dying from preventable diseases and no one seems to notice.

No Really, Heart Diseases, Cancer and Stroke are killing people every day and with some simple adjustments in our habits we can prevent these diseases from killing us!

So why is it we allow this to happen? Is it that we don't care? No that couldn't be it, how could we not care, we're talking about our lives and the lives of our family and friends.

Obviously we care!

So is it that we don't know. Well I might buy that, if the internet had not been created, and the personal computer was not a part of every other house hold, even your loving grand mother has one. No I think we know and if we don't know Google Heart Disease, Cancer or Strokes and see what you get. You'll find tons of stuff anything from natural fixes, hospitals doctors to Statistics.

Could it be that we are brain washed? Brain washed you say what do you mean brain washed. Well let's say that after decades of the constant barrage of TV commercials Radio Commercials and print advertising we are told every day take this pill have this operation and the American Medical Industrial Complex will fix your problem. No need to do any thing about what you eat or drink whether you exercise or take supplements. Don't worry about how you live we'll fix you when, not if, your broken.

Well the problem is the system, that has brained washed us into thinking, "they'll fix us when we break", is broken. Its over taxed and under funded and is blotted with bureaucracy and will soon not be capable of handling the existing population much less the on slot of the aging baby boomers.

Now with a few life style changes we can begin to take control of our lives. Rather then let brain washing dictate how we live and worse yet how we die, Take Control. Dare I say it, Take responsibility for our lives. We Can Stop Heart Disease, Cancer and Strokes.

We can begin some simple actions that will begin the transformation from disease to health, in latter articles I will go into specifics on these actions, and briefly here goes.

Check your food labels, I don't mean just the fat content or the carbohydrates but look at those words you can't pronounce, those Chemicals, preservatives, the Modified Food Starches (MSG), the High Fructose Corn Syrup, Google these terms and see what you get.

Exercise yes the evil word "exercise" now I don't mean investing hours at the Gym or investing thousands in home equipment. How about going for a walk, take the stairs, park at the back of the parking lot not at the front door.
