Ibs Symptoms & Body Toxin Cleansing

When I was younger I had some abdominal problems. Today you would say I have the irritable bowel syndrome or IBS. If felt bloated after every meal. I tried almost everything. Probiotics helped a little and fibre products made me even more constipated.

I went to a Naturopath who was specialized in body detoxication. I always try to use natural methods first before considering medications. I am a believer in the natural healing power of the body. However, I also know that drugs are a good thing when time has come.

I was thinking that there must be a reason for my problems. Causes that could be solved once discovered. The doctor said I should try to detoxicate my body. Toxins can be responsible for my symptoms and for many other problems.

To detoxicate my body was a good idea, even if it was not the reason for my irritable bowel syndrome. If my body is in a toxic state then I would do something against it. I also had other symptoms which would speak for the toxic theory. I was tired pretty often. My body was aching without a reason.

The toxins are stored in the fat cells of a body. Daily exercise is one of the best ways to get rid of toxins and to wake up my internal organs. I started doing some workout almost daily with some jogging and gymnastic.

For some time it made the symptoms even worse but this did not bother me. I knew this can not be bad. Actually, it often happens that things get worse once a 'treatment' has started.

The doctor explained to me that a lot of the organs that have to do with the toxins have also something to do with my digestion and probably my IBS problems. First of all the colon which can store a huge amount (pounds!) of waste sticking on the walls. My kidneys, liver, lymph and lungs are the other organs which I should take care of.

Cleaning my body was a great idea and I feel much better today. I try to do this at least twice a year.
