How to Set your Computers Monitor for Minimum Eyestrain On Xp

This article deals with a common computer user problem eye strain and how to reduce it. If you use a computer protecting your eyes from excessive strain should be one of your concerns. There are two types of monitors cathode ray is the most common it works by an electron beam being beamed from a cathode of picture tube to its mask or the part where you can see.

Monitors of this type are the early kind like your TV set these monitors cause eye strain. This action of drawing across the picture tube mask is called the refresh rate. The lower the refresh rate speed the better for your eyes health. LCD monitors like thin screen monitors work in a different way. But its still a good Idea to lower the refresh rate for your eyes health. This example is for windows.

This is fairly simple to do
1. Right click on blank area on desktop
2. Left click on properties.
3. Select settings tab.
4. Click on advanced button.
5. Select monitor tab.
6. Select radio button on refresh rate to 75 hertz.
7. Click on apply button.
