When you know what graphics card you are using, then head over to the website of the companies where you can find and download the latest drivers for the particular graphics card.
The drivers actually working as software that runs your graphics card. Being up to date with latest drivers will help you to solve issues that may arise with modern PC games. One of my friends has updated his driver recently to fix a problem for his new game.
After downloading driver make sure you create a restore point using the utility System Restore. This can be done by Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools and then System Restore.
