Recently Nokia has acquired GPS manufacturing company called Navteq which is considered to be one of the bests in this field.

This acquisition will definitely play an important role when it comes to the improvement of the GPS system in Nokia N96. Though the idea is still vague what exactly you are getting in the Nokia N96 GPS system but this is for sure that it is going to be a branded system which is highly active and efficient when it comes to showing the right pathway as well as maps.
