By: Mark Hirst

The phone that is tagged as the "Best Camera Phone" and "Sony Ericsson's Best Yet" is the Sony Ericsson C905. This camera phone has a lot of features, but the main event of this mobile phone is its 8.0 megapixel camera, the first mobile phone in the world to have one. The Sony Ericsson C905 measures 104 x 49 x 18 mm and weighs 136 grams.

??????????? The mobile phone's camera is very similar to the Sony Cybershot digital cameras with the usual face detection, xenon and camera flashes, image stabilization and geotagging software. It can take pictures with a maximum image resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels. The camera view finder is made of mineral screen which is scratch-proof. The maximum zooming capability is 16x.

The mobile phone also offers an installed application called PhotoMate which is a photography handbook offering advice and tips on how to improve your picture taking skills. Aside from the camera, there are also a lot of connectivity features in the Sony Ericsson C905. It is Wi-Fi ready, has GPS and Bluetooth capability. The mobile phone makes use of a built-in GPS receiver and offers different applications which include Google Maps and Wayfinder Navigation 7. In terms of the WiFi connectivity, once you turn it on, you are provided with a list of wireless hotspots location which you can connect to with just one click of a button. How easy is that?

??????????? In terms of its battery, the mobile phone's battery life can last up to 380 hours of standby time and up to 9 hours of talk time. However, since there are a lot of features available, it is safer to pack up an extra battery. The battery life also depends on the features that you use and the frequency of using it.

??????????? Why settle for just a plain digital camera if you can have a top of the line camera in a mobile phone? That way, you get the best of both worlds!
