LG Prada - Timely Debut... Wins Heart

By: Bradley Ben

LG took everyone by surprise as they launched the LG Prada. This joint venture (between LG and the fashion house Prada) resulted in such a mesmerizing device, that soon it was termed as the "iPod killer". Of course later analysis showed that the LG Prada was no match to the Apple product, nonetheless, its early launch stole the show.

What made LG Prada top the chart of fashion mobiles, was its futuristic make. Unlike the other handsets in the market, the LG Prada came with a large full touch screen - without any buttons to distract its dense appeal. Wrapped in black casing with a black interface, the phone looks quite simple when not activated, but the story takes a brilliant turn, when the LG Prada is set on. Beautifully and colourful icons are displayed on the large screen, and a gentle tap with the fingers, takes you to the desired section. To make typing easy, the LG Prada flashes a comprehensive keypad, with large and spacious keys. And lest the users should be troubled with the thought of "too much of touching", the LG Prada comes with scratch resistant screen. Which means the beauty and durability of the handset is not marred.

LG Prada is all about beauty. And to ensure that the users are capable of clicking the beautiful moments of life, the handset is empowered with a 2 MP camera. The camera is also competent to make good videos. The treat of music comes with a quality music player, and for doze of local stations, the LG Prada comes with FM player. The music player of LG Prada is compatible with MP3/ACC/WMA formats.

Connectivity wise, LG Prada does a good job. It comes ready with Tri-band GSM network, Bluetooth, GPRS and EDGE. WAP 2.0 opens the world of internet for the users, while a plethora of messaging service empowers one to send SMS, MMS, and more.

Undoubtedly, the LG Prada is the nicest LG phone in the market and a desired non-business user touchscreen phone. For users who do not want to queue for the iPhone access, the LG Prada is worth a look.
