LG Shine: Looks Matter the Most

By: America Ebony

LG Shine is being regarded as one of the premier handsets that we have seen around this year and it has received a heartfelt response from the mobile phone users all around the world. There has been a great hullabaloo about this handset in the recent past, at the time when this mobile phone was released in the market. Its mirror screen effect is enough to generate a lot of attention of the women users towards it, along with a lot of fashionable menfolk as well. So, in a much wider arena, LG Shine has been perfectly blended with the most handsome looks and some commendable features to make a perfect combination that could be marketed in a big way.

The technical name for the popular LG Shine is LG KE970, though it comes in other variants also as LGKU970, the 3G Vodafone exclusive handset and also the recent addition to the popular LG Shine series namely LG KE770 Shine, a candy bar version of the same, but there is nothing extraordinary about this handset except for the fact that it has a really shiny screen and a scroll wheel when it is seen overtly. Also, the glossy handset has reasonably sufficient amount of features that are naturally expected out of a handset as big as LG Shine. Like its 2 Mega Pixels camera that could take nice pictures through it, along with the Tri-Band GSM capability with a Bluetooth connectivity. So, there is nothing exceptional about this model as such.

The 2 Mega Pixel has become a standard feature in all the high end models of camera phones, but the camera of LG Shine has a commendable clarity of pictures. Further, its MP3 player is capable of playing music in MP3/AAC++/3GP/MPEG4 file formats and allows you to take your favourite music along with you wherever you go. An interesting addition that we have seen in LG Shine is its document viewer that makes it apt in taking your office work out from your workstation and allows it to be viewed through this gadget in MS Office formats.

However, its talk time is an utter disappointment as we obviously want any mobile phone to give us a good talk time inspite of all the other frills that come as a part of it. The basic function of talking has been carelessly overlooked by the manufactures and it actually looks like a serious drawback in LG Shine. Had it been a 3G (UTMS) capable device, then the case would have looked much more understandable but, LG Shine is a complete wreck as far as the talktime is concerned.

So, you may buy LG Shine for its fashionable exterior but technically it is more of an average device that is overhyped and recklessly promoted.
