LG Shine: LG Shine or LG Prada?

By: Carly

Pricking your hair, and moreover getting confused in the search to find out the difference between the LG Shine and LG Prada? Stop splitting your hair and start reading the article.

Lets starts with the LG Shine. Encased in a full-metal body, 2.2-inch wide screen LG Shine has an amazing look with dimensions 99.8 x 50.6 x 13.8 mm and weighing 125 g. LG Prada, a product of LG technological innovation and of Prada design quality, it measures 98.8 x 54 x 12 mm in dimensions and weighs 85 g. Users who are much conscious of their mobility and weigh-conscious about what do they carry, here LG Shine miss the bus.

Moreover, if someone is more interested to go by the detail of features like messaging, games, camera, MP3 player, FM radio, Document viewer, T9, Organiser and Voice memo. Sorry, there is virtually no difference between the two sets. They are laden with the same features. Despite sharing almost the same features, at one point LG Shine make the point against LG Prada, and it is the network it supports. Though both the handsets support the GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900 network, it is LG Shine that supports the HSDPA platform. And this aspect it is supposed would make the difference between the two, especially among users who get enticed by the technological marvel than by the mere looks.

If again one goes by the technical specification of both the sets. One would find that both the sets do not adhere to HSCSD, Infrared port, and WLAN platform. Well, LG Prada supports the EDGE platform whereas LG Shine do not have that feature. For some, feature like ?memory? does make a difference. Both the sets are able to keep a record of 1000 entries in the Phonebook, but there is a difference in the call records, received records and miss records. The LG Shine maintains 50 (call), 50 (received) and 50 (missed) records, whereas LG Prada goes by 40, 40 and 40 records.

This was all about LG Shine and LG Prada specifications. Now, it is with the users to decide where to fall upon. And that is going to be very tough question to answer.
