LG U8380 3G Review - a Review of the LG U8380 3G Cellular Phone

By: Jonathan Baker

The slogan that goes along with the LG U8380 3G cell phone is "Music to Your Ears", and once one takes a look at all of the features that it has to offer, it's easy to see why. This technological wonder weighs 139 grams and measures 97.1 millimeters tall x 51.6 millimeters wide x 25 millimeters thick. The battery lasts a whopping 175 hours on standby, making it one of the most powerful phones in the LG line.

There are two screens on the U8380, one internal and one external. The both TFT display types, the external screen shows 65,000 colors in all of their brilliance and measures 128 x 160 pixels. The interior screen, however, will display 262,000 colors and measures a massive 176 x 220 pixels.

These screens will come in handy when users want to view pictures taken by one of the two high quality digital cameras encased in the U8380. The exterior 1.3 megapixel camera can take extremely detailed 1280 x 960 resolution photos. The interior VGA camera can be used to take photos up to 640 x 480 and either screen can be used as a viewfinder. Both cameras can take either pictures or video, making the U8380 one of the more unique phones on the market today.

Still, even the dual cameras pale in comparison to the powerful stereo speakers that produce high quality audio. The music player on the LG U8380 3G cellular phone supports both MP3 and WMA file formats, so there's no need to worry about reformatting your tunes before transferring them to the phone. Also, with the TransFlash memory card slot, there's no need to worry about not having enough space to store everything you need to carry around with you. All things considered, the U8380 is an extremely fashionable and smart buy.
