While the LG Chocolate was dark and mysterious, the LG Shine is shiny and bright. Infact, the highly reflective shiny stainless steel casing of the LG KE970 was instrumental in naming the device as Shine. Even the 2.2 inch 262k coloured, TFT screen is hidden beautifully within the slider, much like that of the LG Chocolate. This makes the handset look like a highly reflective box that could be mistaken for a mirror. The tactile keypad is etched into the stainless steel surface and glows in blue light when the phone is slide opened.
Taking note of all the negative feedback on other fashion models with touch sensitive keypads, the manufacturers of the LG Shine have opted for a well spaced, conventional one to keep wrong presses to minimum. The LG Shine features a advent grade 2.0 mega pixel digital camera on the back of the slider. The digital camera is equipped all necessary mobile imaging aids like autofocus, digital zoom and integrated flash light. Shoot pictures or videos of anything that catches your fancy, create a MMS complete with a photo or video with text and sound and share it with all who missed it.
The mobile email service of the LG Shine allows you to send emails, thereby opening new vistas of communication and sharing. The LG Shine comes with tri band technology that works across more than hundred countries, in five continents. Emailing apart, the LG Shine is a great way to browser the web - powered by GPRS, via a built in WAP 2.0/xHTML browser. You can download your favourite songs to be played on the integrated media player of the LG Shine. With 1 GB of internal memory pool, storage space is never going to be a problem with the LG Shine.
